Street seen
I wore shadows.
She wore light.
We met in the street.
The breeze played at painting us together.
The sun declined to stay.
For a moment,
As the light faded,
raindrops dappled, and the breeze whispered,
We were as one.

The street
Red lights strip the dark /
Sirens usurp the silence /
Need consumes the street.
