Flap Jack
There once was a pancake bed,
Soft as anything said.
I laid down for a nap.
Woke up as a flap,
Filled suddenly with syrup and dread.
Kafka! I cried from my sleep.
He appeared and began to weep.
Then with his fork,
He made his first stroke
And I felt my syrup drip and seep.
