“Palindrome day”

Palindrome day

Say Goodbye

To Palindrome Day.

It comes and it goes

Just the same way.

Some demand it

Have more to say.

But it comes and goes

Just the same way.

Put it in forward

Or reverse play:

02022020

Has the same sway.

There may have been

Much more in the clay

When the ground hog

Tested his shadow’s lay.

But if more winter comes

Or if winter goes today

02022020

Will carry us away.

Haiku and photo: “Night Visitor”

Night visitor

Ancient face abounds;

Deep into the night it shines.

See in darkness home.
