Pathways, walkways, walls — /

Lichen covered here and there. /

Brick, stone, wood, and dirt — /

Decay is Time’s only care. /

Taking down the now — /

Leaving pieces that we share. /

Pathways, walkways, walls — /

Leading onward, lichen dare.
