Atelier, to the fleeting few

Atelier, to the fleeting few

by David E. Booker

Don’t bombinate,
Masticate,
Ruminate,
Or expectorate
On things fugacious.

Curb your propinquity
For antiquity
So your synchronicity
Won’t lead to affinity
With the less efficacious.

May your chronometer
And odometer,
Your speedometer
And thermometer
Be this side of rapacious.

Remember, pandiculation
is more than perturbation,
Beyond mere permutation
Or even matriculation
Over things sebaceous.
